According to a website football-shirts.co.uk, the brand new 2009 Manchester United home jersey has been revealed. Now the first look at this new Manchester United home jersey really takes you back, in fact it has the same look at the away jersey we wrote about that was a remake of their 1909 to commemorate United’s first major trophy; the FA Cup win over Bristol City. Now if this indeed the real home jersey for the 2009-10 season, then we really like this jersey much more than the away jersey which we thought looked pretty uncomfortable to wear. First of all, the laces are gone from the neck line and the jersey design is made fairly simple, yet adding the V shape across the chest really makes the jersey stand out.

The new Manchester United home jersey keeps the embroidered badge on the left chest and embroidered Nike logo on the left and their new sponsor SAUDI TELECOM is shown as a large full front logo. Now the only thing we dislike about the jersey is the collar on the jersey, why not take that off and leave the neckline a circular neckline as most soccer jerseys are in today’s game. Overall, a classy looking jersey and one that should sell well once it becomes available.
