On paper this is a great signing for Napoli as they currently sit in third place in the Serie A and getting a strong defender will come in handy as they battle top flight teams like Inter Milan and Juventus. Subotic will start playing in January for Napoli and they start out with two games that they should win easily and this will get the 20-year-old stopper some playing time before they take on some tough competition in Fiorentina. What makes this signing so critical is that English Premier League teams were getting ready to swoop in on Subotic but Napoli acted quickly and made a great decision as they are having a great Serie A season and if they want to play in the Champions League next season they will need a solid defender and they get that in Subotic.
