Looking at the Ireland 2010 home soccer jersey, the only thing we found wrong with it is the V-neck collar and that this jersey won’t be seen in the upcoming World Cup. This Ireland home jersey has a retro look to it and that’s exactly what they were going for as they are paying homage to the team’s from the 1950’s and 60’s. When we look for a good looking soccer jersey, we like ones that represent their countries colors and this jersey does that with the huge shade of green and white trim throughout.

The jersey is made by Umbro and one important note is that it’s cut as an athletic fit so it will be a bit slimmer then most jerseys you’ve probably worn in the past. The fabric is a 79/21 polyester and cotton mix so it looks like a cotton soccer jersey with a polyester moisture control on the inside so you are comfortable all day wearing it.

The front of the jersey features an embroidered Umbro logo on the top right, a Ireland national team crest on the left chest and it’s completed with their eircom screened sponsor on the full front. As we said we aren’t thrilled with the collar on the jersey, but when you go with a retro look, that comes with the territory, but other then that we would make this a must buy for National team soccer jerseys.
