Looking through the new adidas Major League Soccer jersey designs this year we have come to the conclusion that the soccer jerseys for this years teams are all well done. It seems not too long ago that when the league first started out the jerseys looked like a bunch of crayons threw up on a canvas and then a soccer jersey was created. Now we are 14th season and the soccer uniforms that MLS has is a 1000% improvement from when the league first started. Like we said, we really do like the soccer jerseys from the teams this year, but the team that has the best overall home and away jersey has to go to the Houston Dynamo. First of all the orange and white combination goes extremely well together, they kept it nice and simple by using only two colors and each jersey has the color of the neckline coming from the collar and swaying throughout the body of the jersey. The Houston Dynamo home jersey gets special praise for it’s vibrant orange color and crisp look, if you look closely within the body of the jersey you’ll see a sublimation design that almost looks like sun rays coming from the jersey that keeps with their Forever Orange motto.

The Houston Dynamo dominated the Western Conference last season and they will be looking to build upon that this season to capture another MLS title. While we can’t guarantee that they will come out on top at the end of the season, we can say that the Houston Dynamo jersey should win all awards for the best looking MLS jersey for the 2009 season.

Colorado Rapids 2009 Home and Away Jerseys

The 2009 Colorado Rapids jerseys are available which are now available with a host of other Major League Soccer League teams. What we notice right away from both the Rapids home and away jerseys are that kept the collars on both jerseys but instead of keeping the collar all one color they are two toned. So when you look at the maroon home jersey the collar is maroon, gray and maroon whereas the away jersey has the collar colors in light blue, gray and then light blue again. Our favorite Colorado Rapids jersey is their home maroon jersey and it’s basically because we like the maroon color. The jersey is a solid maroon color throughout the entire body of the jersey and the only shade of light blue is the adidas three stripes which go from the top of the collar and goes down about ¾ of the way down the sleeve and on the right sleeve only you’ll notice the MLS embroidered patch.

Both home and away jerseys feature the embroidered Colorado Rapids patch in the upper left of the jerseys and the adidas logo in the upper center of the jersey. The home jersey has the team name RAPIDS screened on in the full front whereas the away jersey has COLORADO screened in the full front.

LA Galaxy 2009 Jersey is Now Available

The MLS jersey we are featuring is the 2009 LA Galaxy jersey, which has gone ahead like the other new jerseys by getting rid of the loopy lines on the sides of the jersey that was featured in the 2008 versions.
