France had a line of successful years in International soccer by winning the World Cup as the host nation in 1998 and then they won the European Championship in 2000, but what people tend to remember them by is when Zinedine Zidane headbutted Italian player Marco Materazzi. Well soccer fans might soon have a new thing to remember and that’s the adidas France home jersey that looks more like a goalkeeper jersey than one that would be worn by a field player.

The jersey has two shades of blue with the darker blue being the background color and then you’ll notice lighter blue horizontal stripes across the jersey that start out wide at the top and getting thinner going towards the bottom. The jersey keeps classic look with a all white collar that would mostly be seen by soccer jerseys from the 70’s and 80’s but they are somehow making a comeback on newer professional soccer jerseys. We have mixed views about the jersey, but when most soccer jerseys are going with a solid one color jersey, adidas did make a drastic change to this jersey and if they wanted to leave a lasting impression as their very last jersey they will do for France, then they certainly did that.
