Portugal 2010 World Cup Away Soccer Jersey
Feb 26th, 2010 | By admin | Category: National Team Soccer JerseysTake a look at the brand new 2010 Portugal away soccer jersey for this year’s World Cup and the first thing we noticed was that it looks almost identical to the 1982 Mexico away soccer jersey. Both soccer jerseys have the white body and the green and red bold vertical stripes that go from the neckline down to the bottom of the jersey. It’s a shame that Nike didn’t get more creative on this jersey, used this year’s Portugal jersey as an almost exact replica on another country’s old jersey design.
With that being said, we think the design looks pretty cool (although it’s been used) and it’s a major change from older Portugal soccer jersey designs from Nike that were one color and somewhat plain looking. The green and red stripes actually break up the look of the jersey, I think we would have been upset if they left the jersey as a all white version. As with the other Nike World Cup soccer jerseys, this jersey is also made of recycled plastic bottles and is made from the new Dri-Fit materials that make the jersey much lighter then older model Nike jerseys.
