Just in time for the 2012 UEFA European Championship is the 2011-13 England home soccer jersey which has a little bit of the same look as their 2010 World Cup jersey, but with a few modest changes to warrant it a new jersey. The brand new England home jersey again is mostly all white but you’ll notice two big changes right away, no fold over collar and there are small multi-color St. George’s Cross’s within the shoulder of the design. The reason for the multi-colors instead of having them all red is that they represent the cultural diversity of England, which is great for England but not in a soccer jersey. Overall the jersey is ultra comfortable in that it has anatomically tailored sleeves for a great feel and stretch rib and woven material so that the jersey isn’t too tight when you wear it. With their subpar performance in the previous World Cup, fans will be happy to know that their body will stay cool with the climate controlling technology even though their temper may not. While we think it’s a nice looking jersey, it’s not great. The St. George’s cross in the shoulder of the home jersey that the team will wear on the field is just a little hokey for us to label it a must buy classic soccer jersey. With that being said if they had one cross on each shoulder in red and white then it would be a much better jersey for us to recommend. England will wear this new home jersey during their Euro 2010 qualifying match starting against Bulgaria.
