Our review on the brand new Italy 2010 World Cup soccer jerseys in both their home and away kits is that we prefer their white away jersey over their home blue jersey that includes futuristic image within the jersey that just doesn’t look right. Reason being we prefer the white away jersey is that it’s a classic soccer jersey even though it has a fold over collar which we tend to shy away from whenever a t-shirt collared jersey is available. What saves this fold over collar is when you flip it up you have the colors of the Italian flag which is really unique and a nice touch to the jersey. The Italian World Cup away soccer jersey is all white and fairly plain looking that’s made with a very lightweight block texture and side mesh paneling which makes for a very comfortable feel that’s completed with a unique soccer ball/star pattern.

As we stated earlier, our main reason why we dislike the Italian home jersey is that they chose to have a hideous looking image within the body of the jersey. Now if they choose to use an image of the Italian flag or some sort of wording familiar with their country background we would have favored the jersey a bit more, but we aren’t sure what this figure is supposed to be. We do love the neck collar of this jersey where they incorporated the colors of the Italian flag and that’s finished with “gli azzurri” embroidered on the back of the neck.
