Looking over the teams in the 2009 English Premier League, we have compiled a list of the best looking Premier league soccer jerseys. The basis on what we felt were the best looking had no bearing on whether the team was good or had some of our favorite players, we just looked at all of the Premier League soccer jerseys and made our decision on that alone. The lineup we have listed below are in order from 5 to 1, with the number 1 spot being our favorite Premier League jersey. Now just because a jersey might be in the 5 slot, doesn’t mean we don’t like the jersey, in fact that jersey beat out all other jerseys not even mentioned.

As with any list we put out, we welcome your suggestions on whether we were correct with our list or just dead wrong with our ordering. Aston Villa Away Jersey – This Aston Villa sky blue jersey is a great compliment to a team heading into the right direction with their play on the field. Now most soccer fans will immediately think of the home Aston Villa jersey, but the more this team wins, the more fans will start to like their away jersey and start to purchase this as one of their favorite soccer jerseys.

Sunderland Home Jersey – The only way the Sunderland soccer jersey could be improved is if they put horizontal red and white stripes, just like the Celtic FC jersey. In fact, more times than not, if we find a striped soccer jersey it will make any top five list of ours. Although Sunderland is having a less than spectacular season in the Premier League, we still feel their jersey is better then most of the current top four teams.

Fulham Away Jersey – Again, a striped jersey comes before us so we have to put the Fulham away soccer jersey on the list. Their home jersey is a plain white jersey which looks fine, but the red and black design of their away jersey really does it for us. In fact if this wasn’t a soccer jersey, this is a shirt design I would wear while just being out and about. The colors work well and the jerseys just look great while watching Fulham on TV, unfortunately the play isn’t always that fun to look at.

Arsenal Third Jersey – Now when we were doing this list, we promised we wouldn’t put any third jerseys on the list, but we liked the all burgundy special make Arsenal jersey that we had to include their white with burgundy third jersey. This is one of the more plain jerseys we like, but again the colors are just down right cool. The team could have made the neck trim and capped sleeves one of their common team colors, but they went with the burgundy to which we really like and if we were going to purchase any Arsenal soccer jersey, this would be the one to buy.

Blackburn Rovers Home Jersey – Similar to the Fulham away jersey, this Blackburn Rovers home jersey is just damm cool. We wrote about this jersey earlier in the year about how much we like it and we like it so much it’s our favorite English Premier League jersey. The only thing we might miss next season about this jersey is the team as they are close to being knocked out of the Premier League and if they are it’s a shame as this soccer jersey is an instant classic to look at.
