It hurts us to admit it, but the 2010-11 Manchester United away jersey just isn’t a great looking jersey. As much as we were waiting and hoping for a great looking soccer jersey to wear this coming season we are going to have to pass on this one and just stick with their home kit. Our first look at it, the immediate thought was it’s not a bad looking training jersey but it wasn’t, it’s the official away kit for the Red Devils and we aren’t happy.

The majority of the jersey is all white with a sublimated red and black lightning pattern on the sleeves which scream this is a training jersey. In fact we saw their yellow training jersey with the gray and that design is much better than this, I guess it just disappoints us since they turn in great looking soccer kits year after year and this is the non quality design Nike has dumped on the team and fans worldwide to wear. They would have been better off producing the same jersey as the Man United home jersey with the body of the jersey being black or perhaps white so the team looks uniformed as they did last season.

Well there you have it, our honest opinion on the newest Manchester United away jersey from Nike. Although it’s not the most positive, we are giving our feelings on the jersey so that you can make the informed decision on whether or not to purchase it.
