2011 AC Milan Soccer Jerseys Review

The most anticipated professional soccer jerseys each year tend to be the Manchester United, Chelsea FC, Club America and AC Milan jerseys. Well fans that like to cheer on the Rossoneri have a chance now to purchase official 2011 AC Milan jerseys in all three styles. Last season adidas turned out three great jerseys for the Serie A club and they have done it again and if you are a big fan of the team, you might want to get all three to wear throughout the season.

The home AC Milan jersey is the classic black and red stripes, although this season they are a lot more bold and some soccer jersey fans have said the jersey is starting to look like the Barcelona home jersey. While we don’t agree with that 100% we do think it’s a great looking jersey and if you like the striped soccer jersey look, then you will really appreciate this jersey. The one feature and it’s a small one that we do like is the red adidas three stripes within the shoulders of the jersey, sometimes the jersey designer will get lazy and leave that area a solid color but the red stripes on the black looks perfect.

Next up is the AC Milan away jersey and like last season it’s a white jersey but this style is much nicer and soccer jersey fans will absolutely love it. Both away jersey styles are dominated in a white jersey body but what we like about the 2010-11 style is the small clip collar on the jersey which gives it a unique look. If you are going to go with a fold over collar, then it has to be a subtle and unobtrusive design and this jersey has exactly that.

Finally the third AC Milan jersey takes the colors of their home jersey and changes the style of the stripes while making the jersey mostly all black in design. The body of the jersey is predominately all black with thin horizontal red stripes throughout the body of the jersey to give it a hint of another color in the jersey. Again like the home jersey, adidas placed their three stripes in red on a black jersey which gives it that extra pop and really makes for a great looking jersey.

Some of the features that you will find on all three jerseys include the following. Inside the jersey where the neckline is includes the Italian flag colors with an inscription that reads “Tu sei tutta la mia vita,” which translates to, “You are my whole life,” is a reference to the club’s relationship with its fans. You’ll also notice the team has a new sponsor on the full front Fly Emirates and the other small change is the adidas logo went from the top center to the right chest.
