We liked last year’s jersey, the one with the thin red pinstripes that ran vertically on the jersey, but they decided to make this year’s jersey a lot more boring. Now there isn’t anything wrong with this plain looking jersey, but there isn’t much to the jersey to get excited about. The entire jersey is white with the other color, red making an appearance within the shoulder and sleeves of the jersey with the three adidas red stripes and a red redesigned collar.
The jersey has an embroidered Hamburg badge on the left chest and adidas logo on the upper center and a heat applied Fly Emirates sponsor logo across the front. Now there is one very cool feature with this jersey and it’s the club logo pattern impressed in bands around the jersey, a feature we have yet to see on any other soccer jersey this year. Hamburg is one of Germany’s most well-known soccer clubs, but we think this won’t be one of the most sought after German soccer club jerseys this season.
