Considered by many to be the best league in the world, the English Premier League is also the best-selling league due to its quality of play, exciting players and transfer drama. It gets comprehensive media coverage, has intense rivalries, and any team can beat another on a given day. La Liga would fall just behind EPL, and we’re seeing MLS growing by leaps and bounds.

How have professional women’s soccer jerseys sold in recent years? What year did the popularity begin with your customers?
WPS is gaining momentum, and we’re hoping that a good showing by the USWNT in the upcoming Women’s World Cup will get even more people, male and female, interested in women’s soccer. Mia Hamm, who actually once interned with our company, was a big influence in bringing fans to the women’s game, and they were fans that wanted to emulate their heroes and support the game though proudly showing off their replica jerseys – often with HAMM on the back. The interest in club jersey launches prior to a new season is very high. Fans search high and low for leaked images online and we field a lot of inquiries from supporters asking when their team’s new kit will debut. However, clubs dictate the launch dates of their new jerseys, and that can be as early as the last game of the current season (as we’ve seen Chelsea do), or as late as the end of September/early October (as Spurs did last season with their Home and Away jerseys).
The World Cup is a different story. All that excitement is condensed into a month-long frenzy of extreme interest in the game and fevered support for one’s country, and with it an unparalleled demand for jerseys. We just cross our fingers that we bought enough.
