River Plate 2009 Away and Third Jerseys

The River Plate soccer jerseys for their 2009 season are now available for purchase. River Plate is the most recognizable team in the Argentina Primera Division among fans worldwide so we are sure that they new River Plate soccer jerseys will be a much needed buy for them this season. Immediately looking at the new away jersey you think there home jersey colors were changed and that’s because the jersey has the same look at their 2008 home jersey but it’s done in black. In fact out of the 2009 River Plate jerseys we really like the black away jersey best even if they gave didn’t give it a look of all its own. The one cool new added feature to the away jersey is the way they added the PokerStars.net sponsor within the inside of the sleeves, a look we have never seen on a professional soccer jersey. Other than that the jersey is very similar to last year’s home jersey, including the red stripe that goes from the left shoulder to the bottom right of the jersey, but we still think the jersey looks great in black and will be a major seller this coming season.

Their third jersey has a great design to it, including the wavy white thin stripes on the body of the jersey and the PokerStars.net sponsor logo within the sleeves just like their away jersey, but the silver color they used as the body of the jersey turns us off a bit. Perhaps if the jersey was a red body jersey color, we would have suggested this as the River Plate jersey to buy, but silver or gray jerseys aren’t too popular with soccer jersey enthusiasts and we would have a hard time to convince them to buy this jersey.
