The new 2009 New York Red Bull soccer jerseys are available and we think this is their best Major League Soccer jersey to date. What you’ll notice about this Red Bull soccer jersey that’s different from last year’s jersey is that the adidas white stripes have been replaced with gray colored stripes on the away jersey, the red stripes are still shown on the home white jersey. Also the white stripes in the body are gone from the body of the jersey and it’s been replaced with the all navy color fabric that makes the full front Red Bull logo stand out a lot more, it seems a lot less busy in the middle of the jersey now. One last change is that this year’s version of the jersey has gray capping on the away jersey and red capping for the home jersey at the end of the sleeves, which really brings a nice new tailored look to the jersey.

Last year’s jersey had the adidas three stripes going from the collar all the way to the sleeves, whereas these jerseys stop at the stitching of the armhole and the MLS patch is placed in the open space and the stripes begin again until they meet the gray or red capping on the jerseys. Overall we like this jersey, it’s a nice looking jersey and best of all we like how adidas really made the jersey less busy in the center so that they could make the Red Bull logo really pop out on the jersey.
