When we first viewed the US Men’s national soccer team away jersey, we thought immediately “what happened to the red, white and blue?” Aside from the USA patch that has the red, white and blue colors, the body of the jersey really goes in another direction. Looking closely at the body of the jersey it’s almost as if the jersey is a very dark gray with some dark blue mixed in, which really makes for a strange color combination. Now their home jersey kept it simple by keeping the national colors on the jersey, but why the team along with Nike did this to the away jersey, we’ll never know. Now we aren’t saying it’s a bad looking jersey, in fact it’s fairly plain looking so it can’t be criticized too badly, it’s just that we don’t agree with doing away with your nation’s colors from the body of the jersey to compete while playing against other national teams.
